is there anything to be said for the 'i don't knows'
for the you's and me's and the lonely foes
standing on either side of the gun
and the paradigm
each with thier own mixed up lies
living only if the other dies?
if even one is evil ... is there any of us good?
if only one is good ...is there any good to it?
if i never know the definition or the meaning of life
am i still fulfilling it?
will there be a time in the future when they say i took them a step closer
or a step farther away?
if i tune in to one child, will the world be better for it?
or will they just be better for a badly broken world?
will there come a day
when i will once more say
there is more ?

harmony and the meaning of being ...again.
tonight i've sat under the stars and watched my friend juggle and ride tricks on his unicycle.
and seen my friends in skits that made me laugh so hard i thought i was going to fall off my seat.
and i saw people i don't know down below throwing glow sticks into the air coming out like so real fireworks.
and words competed with memories and experiences as "proud to be an american" blasted over the loud speakers and i had to ask myself, "what again is the purpose of life?" and "can i live in this country?" and "IS there a god?".
yesterday i was taken away by a poorly acted summer camp play that had two waring sides to lay down their weapons. and unexpected tears leapt into my eyes as my soul cried out "OH, BUT THAT'S WHAT I WANT!!!" in real life.
